Karri currently works worldwide, depending on your membership plan.

How much does it cost?

You pay one time to buy a Karri messenger and sign up for a monthly or annual subscription to use it. The subscription can be cancelled any time - no minimum contract length. We also offer discounts if you buy and use more than one KARRI. You can find more detailed info here:

Is the SIM card included?

Yes - each Karri comes with a built-in SIM card, so you don't need to buy anything extra. You simply buy a messenger and sign up for a monthly or annual plan which you can also cancel whenever you want to.

How far does it reach?

As Karri is data-enabled it literally works like a phone in terms of connection. It works on all networks including 2G, 3G, 4G and LTE and will always pick the network with the strongest signal. This way we can guarantee a 99% population coverage.

Who can contact my child?

Simply put - no-one apart from you and whoever you add as a trusted contact. Our SIM cards do not have phone numbers meaning that no one can send messages to a Karri unless you have previously added and approved the contact via the parental app.

The data-enabled, integrated SIM card simply chooses the best available network in the area (3G, 4G and LTE) and connects to it automatically.
